The ONYX theatre is located just 5 minutes on foot from the Akena Hotel in Saint-Herblain. It stands at the very heart of the Atlantis zone.

The ONYX is a theatre specialising in dance, established in 1998. Initially involved as part of an association, its management has since merged with that of the venue La Carrière. The Onyx-La Carrière has been labelled a “scène conventionnée danse et arts du cirque” (subsidised theatre for dance and circus arts) by the French Ministry of Culture. Thanks to this label, the Onyx receives public funding for developing work in the areas of choreographic arts and dance.
